 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. Elon Musk, Reclaims Title As The Richest Person In The World.

Elon Musk has overtaken French-born fashion icon, Bernard Arnault to become the world’s richest person on earth, following the end of Wednesday’s trading session.

This is according to the Bloomberg Billionaires balance sheet, which estimates that the net worth of Tesla’s Elon Musk is now worth around $192 billion, while LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault has a net worth of $187 billion.

The two “centi-billionaires,” as those worth above $100 billion are known, had been competing for the top slot for months.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
