 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. FRANCE KNIFE ATTACK: SYRIAN REFUGEE INJURED 6 PEOPLE INCLUDING 4 CHILDREN.(VIDEO/PHOTO).

France: Syrian refugee injured 6 people including 4 children by attacking with a knife
  A Syrian refugee attacked 6 people including 4 children with a knife in a park in Annecy, France.

The police have arrested the attacker. According to the French authorities, the ages of the children injured in the attack range from 22 months to three years, one of the injured children is British and one is Dutch.

All four children were seriously injured in the attack, the attacker was arrested after being injured by police firing.

According to reports, the attacker is a 31-year-old Syrian citizen from a refugee camp in Sweden, no evidence of terrorism was found in the attack and the purpose of the attack is not yet clear while further investigations are underway.
