 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  "I was delighted to host members of the 10th House of Representatives, who visited at the Imo State Governor's Lodge Abuja, wherein I affirmed the Party's choice of leadership as best for everyone.


The Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas / Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu joint ticket for Speakership and Deputy Speakership is a product of the elected members of the 10th House of Representatives, conceived in their wisdom and as a democratically-oriented party, we are in support of their choice.


The choice of National Assembly leadership must be considered with respect to the individual credibility capable of handling the dynamics of current socioeconomic situations in the country and synergizing with the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government for the actualisation of the Renewed Hope.

 

While commending the Honourable Members for their choices, which are appropriate at this time in the history of our nation, I urged them to do their best in reaching out to aggrieved members and close ranks ahead of the June 13th inauguration of the 10th National Assembly.
