 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly.  GOVERNOR UZODIMMA PREACHES POLITICAL HARMONY AS HE HOSTS COALITION MEMBERS OF THE 10TH HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVE



Governor Hope Uzodimma has appealed to the coalition members of the 10th House of Representatives to do more in closing ranks with every other members of the 10th House of Representatives ahead of the June 13th Inauguration of the 10th National Assembly.


The Governor, who is the Chairman of Progressive Governors' Forum (PGF), made this appeal while playing host to the coalition members of the 10th House of Representatives at the Imo State Governor's Lodge, Abuja. At the meeting, His Excellency preached for political harmony as a panacea for quality governance.


The members presented their choice of Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas and Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu for the Speakership and Deputy Speakership positions for the 10th House of Representatives, which Governor Hope Uzodimma described as the Choice of the people's representatives and as such should be supported by all progressive-minded citizens.


His Excellency further stressed the need for a synergy amongst the three arms of Government in order to ensure smooth roll out of the Renewed Hope project of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
