 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room. “He was only looking for daily bread” — Adeniyi Johnson begs Nigeria Police to release Trinity Guy


Renowned actor, Adeniyi Johnson appeals for mercy on behalf a popular skit maker called Trinity Guy, who is currently remanded in prison.


As previously reported, the content creator, based in Ibadan, was summoned by the police last week. He has been taken to court on the charges of allegedly portraying inappropriate content involving a minor in a viral skit video.


The Oyo State Magistrate Court ordered the skit maker to be held in Agodi prison for the alleged sexual exploitation of a 10-year-old child.


The parents of the minor were also detained on charges of conspiracy and sexual abuse.


In response to these developments, Adeniyi Johnson appealed to the Nigeria Police to show leniency in Trinity Guy’s case. He emphasized that the skit maker is simply seeking a means of livelihood.


In his words,


“Dear Nigeria police force and every other related agency. Many of us agree that our brother did what is wrong and absurd.


“All I’m pleading for is to TAMPER JUSTICE WITH MERCY. please @iamtrinityguy is a young man looking for what to eat legally but he incidentally fell on the wrong side of the law.


“Please be merciful as I know he has learnt already Nigerian Police Force Recruitment Forum.
