 There was no evidence that he slept with the girl” – Yomi Fabiyi gives update on Baba Ijesha’s case Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has given an update on embattled Yoruba actor Baba Ijesha’s case. Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. “He was only looking for daily bread” — Adeniyi Johnson begs Nigeria Police to release Trinity Guy


Renowned actor, Adeniyi Johnson appeals for mercy on behalf a popular skit maker called Trinity Guy, who is currently remanded in prison.


As previously reported, the content creator, based in Ibadan, was summoned by the police last week. He has been taken to court on the charges of allegedly portraying inappropriate content involving a minor in a viral skit video.


The Oyo State Magistrate Court ordered the skit maker to be held in Agodi prison for the alleged sexual exploitation of a 10-year-old child.


The parents of the minor were also detained on charges of conspiracy and sexual abuse.


In response to these developments, Adeniyi Johnson appealed to the Nigeria Police to show leniency in Trinity Guy’s case. He emphasized that the skit maker is simply seeking a means of livelihood.


In his words,


“Dear Nigeria police force and every other related agency. Many of us agree that our brother did what is wrong and absurd.


“All I’m pleading for is to TAMPER JUSTICE WITH MERCY. please @iamtrinityguy is a young man looking for what to eat legally but he incidentally fell on the wrong side of the law.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.
