 I Don’t Wish It On You – Genevieve Nnaji Knocks Trolls Age-shaming Her Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has responded to social media trolls who made age-shaming comments about her. According to Naija News, a user on X reacted to Genevieve's post on April 3, 2025, stating that she couldn't escape aging and was getting older. The comment read, “You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old.” In her reply, Genevieve pointed out that things could be worse; she could age significantly and eventually die if she were fortunate. She wrote, “It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky.” Another troll referred to her as “mummy,” suggesting she was old, but Genevieve quickly dismissed the comment, saying she wouldn’t wish old age on him. I Could Have Slapped Kwankwaso At Aso Rock – Ganduje


Former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has said that he could have slapped his predecessor, Musa Kwankwaso if he had met him at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.


Ganduje said this while addressing State House reporters after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu on Friday.


He accused Kwankwaso of masterminding the demolition in the state, adding that the demolitions in Kano were executed without due process and, therefore, breached the law.


Some structures demolished include Haji camp, Daula Hotel, and shopping complexes around the Eid Prayer Ground in the state. 


Kwankwaso lost the presidential election on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, although the party’s candidate, Abba Yusuf, won the Kano State Governorship election.


However, both men were in the Villa at the same period to see the president. 


When asked about the President’s response and if they had reconciled inside the Villa, Ganduje said, “I know he is in the building but we have not met. Probably if we met, maybe I could have slapped him.”

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
