 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  IMO APC MEMBERS TRAVELLING TO ABUJA DIE IN AUTO CRASH


Tragedy struck on Monday as members of the All Progressives Congress from Imo State who were travelling to Abuja for the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly on Tuesday died in an auto crash.

It was gathered that the bus they were travelling in had a head-on collision with another bus at Agbor in Delta State.

Several eyewitnesses said that three persons in the bus had been confirmed dead, while others who sustained various degrees of injuries were rushed to hospitals.

Two males from the Amaraku community in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of the state and a female from the Ogbor community in the same LGA died in the auto crash.

A chieftain of the party, who doesn’t want to be mentioned, said that the victims were the coordinators of the senator-elect for Imo North, Patrick Ndubueze, and the House of Representatives member-elect for Okigwe North Federal Constituency, Mirriam Onuoha.
