  Indian billionaire Gautam Adani charged in US for alleged bribery, fraud Gautam Adani, the chair of Indian conglomerate Adani Group and one of the world’s richest people, whose business empire extends from ports and airports to renewable energy,has been indicted in New York over an alleged multibillion-dollar fraud scheme, United States prosecutors have said. The authorities on Wednesday charged Adani and two other executives at Adani Green Energy, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, with agreeing between 2020 and 2024 to pay more than $250m in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain solar energy supply contracts expected to yield $2bn in profits. Prosecutors said the renewable energy company also raised more than $3bn in loans and bonds during this period based on false and misleading statements. It will be great privilege – Ighalo gives conditions to return to Nigeria Premier League


Odion Ighalo says he would be interested to play in the Nigeria Premier League again.


Ighalo is a free agent after leaving Saudi Arabia’s Professional League club, Al Hilal, last month.


The 34-year-old played for local clubs Prime FC and Julius Berger before starting his professional career in Europe in 2007.


“I said if security is guaranteed, good coverage is assured and better officiating. Of course, [I will play],” the forward told Elegbete TV.


“I have played in the league before, and it will be a great privilege for me to play again for another six months or one year before I end my career.”


It would be recalled that Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa featured briefly for Kano Pillars in 2021 after severing ties with Saudi club, Al Nassr.
