 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Kebbi Govt To Complete Ultra Model State Secretariat Complex 

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasiru Idris, has directed the state Head of the Civil Service to submit relevant documents for the completion of the abandoned ultra modern state secretariat complex in Birnin Kebbi.

The Governor gave the directive while inspecting the site of the project. 

He said, the project was part of the liability inherited from the previous administrations. 

According to him, completion of the secreteriate complex was part of his campaign promises.

"I'm ready to support the civil servants and give them conducive environment and working tools for effective and efficient service delivery". 

Earlier, the  Director in charge of the project from the State Ministry of works, Usman Shehu, told the governor that, alot of work had been done in some sections of the complex.

The project was awarded in 2012 by the administration of former governor Usman Nasamu Dakingari and Atiku Bagudu's led administration abandoned the project.
