 Aguiyi Orders Investigation into Trans Nkisi Mining Site Over Environmental Compliance By Amaka Isikala The Anambra State Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Clem Aguiyi, has ordered an investigation into the environmental compliance status of a mining site at Trans Nkisi, Onitsha, following concerns over extensive land degradation and its possible contribution to the growing gully erosion threatening the community. The directive followed an inspection visit to the site on August 1, during which the commissioner was accompanied by leaders of the Trans Nkisi community. The visit formed part of the ministry's ongoing assessment of environmentally sensitive locations across the state in line with Governor Chukwuma Soludo's Fifth Pillar of Development, Environment and Urban Regeneration. Man City win Champions League, achieve Treble dream

It was dream come true for English giants Manchester City as they achieved their Treble quest by beating hard-fighting 1-0 Inter Milan by a lone goal in the final of the European Champions League played this Saturday night, June 10, 2023 at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.

Rodri scored the all-important goal in the 68th minute of play whenhe rifled home beyond Goalie Onana from inside the Inter Milan penalty area.

By this Man City matched Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United 1999 record of winning the treble. They earlier won the English FA Cup and Premier League.

For City manager Pep Guardiola, it is his third Champions League crown of his coaching career, thus joining Bob Paisley and Zinedine Zidane on three Champions League victories.

Only Carlo Ancelotti of Real Madrid has won more, with four.
