 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MINISTER OF STATE FOR PETROLEUM RESOURCES (GAS) AS CO-CHAIRMAN OF NCDMB GOVERNING COUNCIL In line with his avowed commitment to establish a more efficient, targeted, and consistent approval process for unique oil and gas projects in the country, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), as the Co-Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). This is also to further ensure effective oversight of the gas aspect of the nation's assets. The President remains committed to unlocking Nigeria's immense gas potential to stimulate industrial development, job creation, and sustainable economic growth. NPFL: Abia governor hosts Enyimba players for title success

Players and officials of Enyimba will be hosted by Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, on Thursday.

The ceremony is to celebrate the team’s record ninth Nigeria Premier League title.

The event will take place at the Banquet Hall of the Abia State Government House.
The team will be led by chairman Felix Anyansi-Agwu and head coach, Finidi George.

Governor Otti is expected to announce a cash donation to the players and officials.

The Peoples’ Elephant claimed the 2022/23 NPL title at the Super Eight playoffs in Lagos.

The club will compete in the CAF Champions League next season.
