 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. NPFL: Abia governor hosts Enyimba players for title success

Players and officials of Enyimba will be hosted by Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, on Thursday.

The ceremony is to celebrate the team’s record ninth Nigeria Premier League title.

The event will take place at the Banquet Hall of the Abia State Government House.
The team will be led by chairman Felix Anyansi-Agwu and head coach, Finidi George.

Governor Otti is expected to announce a cash donation to the players and officials.

The Peoples’ Elephant claimed the 2022/23 NPL title at the Super Eight playoffs in Lagos.

The club will compete in the CAF Champions League next season.
