 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

OBINABO RESCUES WOMAN BEATEN TO PULP BY HUSBAND.

A pregnant woman Nebechi Achụ from Isuofia who was beaten to pulp by husband Chukwuemerie Anunobi a native of Aguluezechukwu both in Aguata local government area of the state has been rescued by the women and social welfare Commissioner, Hon Ify Obinabo.

The rescue was as a result of a viral video on the internet where Nebechi was struggling for her life after the said incident.

The ministry facilitated the arrest of the culprit but after a passionate plea from the woman, the women and social welfare boss decided to give the man a second chance on very stringent conditions.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Nebechi and Chukwuemerie are only cohabiting and not yet married.

While warning the man never to lay hands on the woman again, Hon Obinabo said she's letting the sleeping dog lie because the woman requested for pardon and if caught another, she will make sure he spends his life in jail.

She went further to reunite them and pray for them even as she mandated the man to either leave the woman or marry her properly as cohabitating is not permitted.

The couple thanked the women Affairs boss for stepping into the situation and promised to live happily ever after.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
