 Peter Obi blasts Gov Alia for blocking him from visiting Benue The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general election, Peter Obi, has accused the Benue State Government of politicising his planned visit to internally displaced persons (IDPs) camps and health institutions in the state. In a statement shared on Monday via his official X account, Obi expressed disappointment over what he described as deliberate attempts to frustrate his humanitarian trip to Benue, lamenting what he called the growing politicisation of good causes in Nigeria. DAILY POST had exclusively reported that Alia had moved to block a planned visit by Obi to camps housing Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the state. Osimhen Visits His Primary School In Lagos

Nigerian professional footballer and Seria A Napoli club striker, Victor Osimhen, visited his primary school in the Oregun area of Ikeja, Lagos. 

Osimhen revealed this in a post on his Instagram page on Thursday.

Osimhen who lived in Olusosun, a small neighborhood near Oregun attended Olusosun Primary School in the Ikeja area of the state. 

The striker went to his former classroom, saw his old teacher, and took pictures with the present students of the school. 

He wrote, "Oregun, thank you for the warm welcome. I sincerely appreciate all the love and support."
