 LAGOS-IBADAN  KARA BRIDGE ACCIDENT: NO CASUALTY AS  CONTAINER TRUCK CRASHES INTO SIX VEHICLES The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, has confirmed that no life was lost and no one susttained injury when a 40-foot container truck crashed into six other vehicles at Kara Bridge, inward OPIC, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Tuesday morning.  The statement says the container truck, which had no registration number, reportedly developed a mechanical fault while in motion, lost control and rammed into the other vehicles. It notes seven vehicles were involved in the crash but the LASEMA’s LRT Tiger Squad, stationed at C3, responded alongside police who moved quickly to manage the scene to prevent another accident. REMI TINUBU ASSUMES OFFICE AS FIRST LADY


The wife of President Bola Tinubu, Mrs Oluremi has assumed office as Nigeria’s First Lady on Monday.

Mrs Tinubu who arrived at the First Lady’s wing accompanied by her security aides, was received by the Permanent Secretary of the State House, Mr Tijjani Umar, and other Heads of Units in the Office.

She was thereafter guided on a tour of offices within the First Lady’s wing, comprising the Administrative, ICT, Catering, Media and Protocol Units.

Oluremi Tinubu holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Ife and has undertaken several courses in some higher institutions.
