 MAN SENTENCED TO 16 YEARS FOR MURDER IN JOSEFA VILLAGE A 25-year-old man has been sentenced to 16 years’ direct imprisonment for the murder of 40-year-old Jabulani Kabide in Josefa Village, Saselamani. Siphiwe Hlungwani was sentenced by the Thohoyandou High Court on Monday, 24 August 2026, after being convicted of murder. The court heard that Hlungwani allegedly stole a cellphone from a relative of Kabide’s family. When the cellphone owner reported the theft to Hlungwani’s mother, he allegedly became aggressive and threatened her. Kabide, who was the cellphone owner’s cousin, confronted Hlungwani, leading to an argument that escalated into a physical confrontation. Hlungwani’s mother later allegedly warned the cellphone owner to hide, saying her son had left the house armed with a knife and intended to kill her. REMI TINUBU ASSUMES OFFICE AS FIRST LADY


The wife of President Bola Tinubu, Mrs Oluremi has assumed office as Nigeria’s First Lady on Monday.

Mrs Tinubu who arrived at the First Lady’s wing accompanied by her security aides, was received by the Permanent Secretary of the State House, Mr Tijjani Umar, and other Heads of Units in the Office.

She was thereafter guided on a tour of offices within the First Lady’s wing, comprising the Administrative, ICT, Catering, Media and Protocol Units.

Oluremi Tinubu holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Ife and has undertaken several courses in some higher institutions.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
