 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. The Rivers State House of Assembly today passed the Rivers State College of Health Science and Management Technology  Amendment Bill into law. 

The Bill amended section 56(c) of the Principal Law and restricted the category of persons to be appointed as Provost of the College to only those with requisite academic qualifications of a doctoral degree in health sciences and allied professions. 

The amendment aims to encourage professionalism, expertise, efficiency and academic excellence. 

In his brief Remarks, the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martin Chike Amaewhule, DSSRS, thanked his colleagues for their robust contributions throughout the stages of the bill.
