 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. TSC Announces June 6th For Mop Up Test

The Nasarawa State Teachers' Service Commission (TSC) has announced plans to hold a mop-up test on Tuesday June 6th, 2023 for applicants who missed the Computer-Based Test (CBT) held from 15th May 2023 to 1st June 2023.

This was contained in a statement issued by its Director of Admin and Supplies, Zaki David Makama. 

According to the statement, the mop-up test is to hold from 9am-4pm prompt at the Umaru Tanko Al-Makura CBT Centre, Lafia, the State capital. 

The affected applicants are advised to come along with their application print out and means of identification.
