A MANHUNT IS UNDERWAY FOR MAN WHO SHOT A GRANITE CITY POLICE OFFICER MULTIPLE TIMES.(PHOTO).

  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. TSC Announces June 6th For Mop Up Test

The Nasarawa State Teachers' Service Commission (TSC) has announced plans to hold a mop-up test on Tuesday June 6th, 2023 for applicants who missed the Computer-Based Test (CBT) held from 15th May 2023 to 1st June 2023.

This was contained in a statement issued by its Director of Admin and Supplies, Zaki David Makama. 

According to the statement, the mop-up test is to hold from 9am-4pm prompt at the Umaru Tanko Al-Makura CBT Centre, Lafia, the State capital. 

The affected applicants are advised to come along with their application print out and means of identification.
