  A 23-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Osarugbe, has died in Libya. African beauty products   She passed away at about 11:33am on Friday, April 4, 2025 after battling illness.    Anti-human trafficking advocate, Yakubu Oyiza and her team had been raising money to bring her back to Nigeria for better medical treatment as hospitals in Libya rejected her.    According to Oyiza, documents for burial, autopsy, and land to bury her in Libya have been arranged, all costing approximately 350,000.   She alleged that the family abandoned her since she fell sick and had earlier refused to go to Kano and pick her up the day she was supposed to be brought back to Nigeria.    In a Facebook post on Saturday, April 5, Oyiza revealed that some family members of the deceased called them asking for Osas’ properties. Uber Driver Caught Having Sëx With Prostitute Says Wife Will Cover £197 Fine 


A married Uber driver, Mohammed Jamal, 37, who was filmed having sëx with a prostitute in the back of his cab has said his wife would be the one who will pay his fine.


According to Dailymail on Wednesday, Jamal was arrested and charged with soliciting sex after a neighbour saw his vehicle "bouncing up and down" and filmed him in the back seat with a prostitute at 2 am in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, on April 9, 2023. 


Jamal has since lost his job as a private driver.


He said, "I lost my job as a private hire driver and have not worked for the last two months. I signed on with universal credit on May 25. My partner will pay any fine."


Gareth Hughes, prosecuting officer, said, "The witness who contacted the police was alerted by the sound of a dog barking outside in the street.


"The car's movements were described as bouncing up and down and he believed the people inside were having sex.


"He believed there was a prostitute involved as they were known to hang out in the local area.


"He went outside and approached the defendant and the other female while recording on his phone."


Uber has banned the driver following the release of the video.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
