 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Wadada Resigns From PAN Nigeria Ahead Of 10th NASS Inauguration

The Senator-Elect for Nasarawa West Senatorial District, Ahmed Aliyu Wadada has resigned his appointment as the Chairman, Board of Directors of the Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN) Nigeria Limited. 

This is contained in a letter addressed to the Board of Directors of the company through the acting Managing Director of PAN and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja.

Wadada thanked the board, management and staff of the company for their support and cooperation during his tenure.

“Sequel to my emergence as senator-elect to represent the people of Nasarawa West Senatorial District, Nasarawa State at the just concluded 2023 General Elections.

“I write to inform you of my resignation as Chairman, Board of Directors, effective immediately.

“This decision is borne out of my desire to effectively concentrate on providing purposeful representation to my people upon the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly on June 13.

“I appreciate the opportunities for growth and development you have all provided to the company during my tenure and have enjoyed steering the affairs of this famous company.”
