  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. What I Discussed With Traditional Leaders — Tinubu


President Bola Tinubu said that he has asked the traditional rulers and their representatives from across the country to support his administration.


He made the call during a meeting held at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja on Friday.


Tinubu disclosed this in a post on his Twitter page on Friday.


The meeting is part of a series of engagements the president is having with key stakeholders since he assumed office on May 29.


He tweeted, "I enjoyed my engagement, this morning, with a gathering of traditional rulers from across the country. 


"In the course of our dialogue, I tasked them with supporting the administration’s efforts to ensure lasting peace and unity by promoting responsible behaviour and patriotism."
