 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. What To Know About Acting CBN Gov, Shonubi

Mr. Folashodun Shonubi, Acting CBN Governor

President Bola Tinubu on Friday night, suspended Godwin Emefiele as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).


The Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation announced his suspension.


Director of Information, SGF office,Willie Bassey, in a statement on Friday, said the suspension is with immediate effect.


The suspended Emefiele was directed to immediately hand over the affairs of his office to the Deputy Governor (Operations Directorate).


According to information available on CBN’s website, Mr. Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi (Board Member) is the Deputy Governor (Operations Directorate).


Shonubi will act as the Central Bank Governor according to director of information, SGF office. He has been serving since October 17, 2018 – to date.


Shonubi holds double Masters Degree respectively in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering, from University of Lagos.


He is a banker with over 30 years professional experience.


Prior to his appointment as Deputy Governor in the Central Bank of Nigeria, he was the Managing Director/CEO in the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System PLC from 2012 – 2018.


Prior to his appointment as the Managing Director NIBSS PLC, Mr. Shonubi was Executive Director, Information Technology and Operations at Union Bank of Nigeria Plc; a member of the Board of Union Homes and Director, Information Technology and Corporate Services in Renaissance Securities Nigeria limited, with responsibility for the Group’ s IT infrastructure in Africa


Between 1999 and 2007, he worked in MBC International as Deputy General Manager and supervised their IT operational platforms, served in First City Monument Bank Limited as Vice President and in Ecobank Nigeria Limited as Executive Director.


Shonubi also had a stint with Citibank Nigeria Limited as its Head, Treasury Operations (1990-1993).


He has served on a number of sub-committees of the Bankers’Committee, including the Ethics and Professionalism sub-committee.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
