 NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces. Anambra Representative Presents South-East Development Commission (SEDC) Establishment Bill 2023 At National Assembly

...... passes First Reading....

The Member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency and former Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House Of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Paschal A. Agbodike today 18th July, 2023 presented a Bill seeking to establish South East Development Commission.

The Bill according to him will address the issue of marginalization, underdevelopment and insecurity in the entire South East geopolitical zone. He said that the Bill will augment the comprehensive development and targeted the specific needs of the people.

He opined that SEDC when successfully created will be entrusted with planning and execution of developmental projects that will positively affect critical sectors like infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, commerce, etc. 

To us at Anambra Current News , this is a landmark move that will help the economic growth of the entire South East. It will attract investments, and create enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
