In a blog post that has now been published by many international media organisations, in an apparent well-coordinated public relations effort, Binance Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng made false allegations of bribery against unidentified Nigerian government officials who he claimed demanded $150m in cryptocurrency payments to resolve the ongoing criminal investigation against the company.  This claim by Binance CEO lacks any iota of substance. It is nothing but a diversionary tactic and an attempted act of blackmail by a company desperate to obfuscate the grievous criminal charges it is facing in Nigeria. Blessed Wisdom Model School, Onitsha Remains Closed -Chuma-Udeh.


Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh says Blessed Wisdom Model School, Onitsha remains closed inspite  of rumours flying around that the school has opened for school activities.


Prof Chumah-Udeh revealed  this during an interview with ABS in her office in Awka.


The Commissioner for Education explained that recently a two year old pupil of the school who left home hale and hearty got battered in school, her tongue severed, her hand broken with bones   shooting out and uptill the time of this report, the management of the school has not told the ministry of education what exactly happened.


Prof. Chuma-Udeh noted that the parents of the child and their lawyer came to the ministry on three occasions and  invitations were extended to the proprietress of the school on these three occasions but she refused to honour the invitations hence the closure of the school by the state government for irreverence to human life.


She also stated that a committee has been constituted to investigate the issue.


On the ban on indecent school uniforms among secondary schools students, Prof. Chuma-Udeh warned that any day she catches any student dressed indecently, she will not only punish the student but she will equally punish the principal of the school.

 Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
