 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. HORROR! MAN BRUTALISES HIS WIFE IN BENUE

A woman is currently battling with her life in a hospital in Makurdi, Benue State after she was brutalised by her husband, Emma Kwaghgbe, said to be a house agent.

A Facebook user, Krayzeetee Atu, who is handling the case, said the incident happened on Saturday night, July 8, 2023.

Mr. Atu, said the victim is receiving treatment at Yima Clinic Akehe at the mercy of online donors as she has no money to pay the bills.

“This is what one Emmanuel Kwaghgbe who stays at International market road before jamb office. The next plot after NKST Acha has been doing to his wife,” he wrote alongside a video of the man beating his wife.

“Neighbours have confirmed that he wakes up everyday without giving them food and leave the house to his side chicks house, then come back home very late just to wake the children up and flog the hell out of them.
