 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. HORROR! MAN BRUTALISES HIS WIFE IN BENUE

A woman is currently battling with her life in a hospital in Makurdi, Benue State after she was brutalised by her husband, Emma Kwaghgbe, said to be a house agent.

A Facebook user, Krayzeetee Atu, who is handling the case, said the incident happened on Saturday night, July 8, 2023.

Mr. Atu, said the victim is receiving treatment at Yima Clinic Akehe at the mercy of online donors as she has no money to pay the bills.

“This is what one Emmanuel Kwaghgbe who stays at International market road before jamb office. The next plot after NKST Acha has been doing to his wife,” he wrote alongside a video of the man beating his wife.

“Neighbours have confirmed that he wakes up everyday without giving them food and leave the house to his side chicks house, then come back home very late just to wake the children up and flog the hell out of them.
