 Four people have died after a car was swept away at an overflowing bridge in the Makotopong River near Sebayeng. Police recovered the bodies after a blue Renault Kwid carrying five occupants was pulled into the river during heavy water flow on Sunday morning, 8 March 2026. One passenger escaped from the vehicle and alerted police and emergency services. Police say the car was travelling along the Madiga–Makotopong gravel road when it overturned at the flooded bridge and was dragged into the river. The Provincial Search and Rescue team recovered the first body on Sunday. The victim was identified as Lebapa Petrus Mochitele, 27, from Madiga Village. EMS personnel declared him dead at the scene. Search operations resumed on Monday with the SAPS Water Wing Unit, EMS Search and Rescue, the Fire and Rescue Department, and an EMS helicopter. “I called him out hoping Anita Brown would back me up” – Lady who allegedly aborted pregnancy for Davido, weeps


Chisom Flower, the lady who claimed to have aborted pregnancy for singer Davido, breaks down in tears as she decries being dragged by his fans.


Amidst two new allegations of pregnancy already leveled against the Afrobeats musician by Anita Brown and Ivanna Bay, Chisom Flower had also claimed to have done abortion for him.


Speaking during a live session, Chisom, who claimed she lost her job because of the saga, revealed that she had been motivated to speak up about the past because she had thought Anita Brown, who is dragging David for allegedly impregnating her, would have backed her up.


She broke down in tears over the backlashes she’s facing at the hands of the singer’s fans for speaking up.


Chisom also insisted on the six million naira the singer had supposedly promised her for aborting the pregnancy.
