 LAGOS-IBADAN  KARA BRIDGE ACCIDENT: NO CASUALTY AS  CONTAINER TRUCK CRASHES INTO SIX VEHICLES The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, has confirmed that no life was lost and no one susttained injury when a 40-foot container truck crashed into six other vehicles at Kara Bridge, inward OPIC, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Tuesday morning.  The statement says the container truck, which had no registration number, reportedly developed a mechanical fault while in motion, lost control and rammed into the other vehicles. It notes seven vehicles were involved in the crash but the LASEMA’s LRT Tiger Squad, stationed at C3, responded alongside police who moved quickly to manage the scene to prevent another accident. Justice Dije Aboki has been confirmed Kano state house of assembly as the substantive Chief Judge of the North-West state. 


The lawmakers confirmed her appointment on Thursday, July 6, after the Speaker, Ismail Falgore read a letter forwarded by Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf during Thursday’s plenary.


Kano State House of Assembly also confirmed three more commissioner-nominees sent to the Assembly by Gov. Kabir-Yusuf. The nominees screened were Ibrahim Fagge, Ibrahim Namadi and Amina Abdullahi-Sani.
