 A Texas man is being charged with m*rder after he shot an armed home intruder who forced his way into his home. This alarming incident occurred on the evening of Friday, January 9th; in Big Springs, Texas.  On the night in question, the Big Springs Police Department responded to a home after receiving a 911 call. Upon their arrival, they were met outside by 43-year-old Joel Florez, pictured below. While questioning Florez, they learned that there was a gunshot victim inside of the home. When officers made their way into the home they discovered 36-year-old Phillip Lozano deceased from a gunshot wound. During the ensuing investigation, they learned Lozano had forced his way into the home while armed with a weapon. Once inside the home, Florez shot Lozano, causing a fatal injury.  For unknown reasons, officers determined there was probable cause to charge Joel Florez with homicide in the death of Philip Lozano.  MAN NABBED FOR ALLEGED THEFT IN JOS BLAMES HARDSHIP

A family man was nabbed for allegedly stealing in Dong village,  Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.  


The suspect, who was caught on Sunday, July 30, 2023, claimed that hardship drove him into stealing.  According to him, he searched for a job but couldn’t get one so he sent his family back to Kaduna State and resorted to stealing.   It was gathered that the suspect was earlier caught stealing before the latest incident.
