 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Nnamdi Kanu: Mbaka leads prayer session for IPOB leader’s freedom

The spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Nigeria, AMEN, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has conducted a special prayer session for the freedom of the incarcerated leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

DAILY POST sighted a video of the special prayer session posted on Friday on the ministry’s Facebook page titled “I pray For Our Brother Nnamdi Kanu”.

The video was apparently recorded while the cleric was ministering in one of his church programmes.

The fiery cleric in the forty-three minutes long video offered prayers to God on behalf of Kanu for his freedom.

“There is nothing you cannot do. You are the specialist in the impossible. Into your hands, we commit Nnamdi Kanu, deliver him, deliver him. Please deliver him, Lord. For the sake of your people, oh Lord, deliver him, Lord. Give him freedom, ransom free. Emancipation. The hand that sets free those in bondage, free him from bondage.
