Trump issues pardon to former Republican congressman Stephen Buyer after insider trading conviction    President Donald Trump has issued a full pardon to former Republican congressman Stephen Buyer, who served nearly two years in prison after being convicted of insider trading tied to post-congressional consulting work. Buyer was sentenced in 2023 to 22 months in prison for illegal stock trades made while working as a consultant and lobbyist. He was ordered to forfeit more than $350,000 in ill-gotten gains and pay a $10,000 fine. He was released from custody in 2025 after his conviction was upheld, with the Supreme Court declining to take up his appeal earlier this year. Nnamdi Kanu: Mbaka leads prayer session for IPOB leader’s freedom

The spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Nigeria, AMEN, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has conducted a special prayer session for the freedom of the incarcerated leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

DAILY POST sighted a video of the special prayer session posted on Friday on the ministry’s Facebook page titled “I pray For Our Brother Nnamdi Kanu”.

The video was apparently recorded while the cleric was ministering in one of his church programmes.

The fiery cleric in the forty-three minutes long video offered prayers to God on behalf of Kanu for his freedom.

“There is nothing you cannot do. You are the specialist in the impossible. Into your hands, we commit Nnamdi Kanu, deliver him, deliver him. Please deliver him, Lord. For the sake of your people, oh Lord, deliver him, Lord. Give him freedom, ransom free. Emancipation. The hand that sets free those in bondage, free him from bondage.
