 France records first Ebola case in doctor returning from DR Congo France confirmed its first imported Ebola case after a humanitarian doctor returned from a mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Health Ministry said Wednesday, Anadolu Agency reported. The patient, who had returned from an area where the virus is circulating in Congo, was immediately admitted to a specialised healthcare facility and is in stable condition, the ministry said in a statement. “All precautionary measures, including the patient's isolation, were taken upon his arrival in the country,” it added, saying the transfer to hospital was carried out under secure conditions to prevent any risk of contamination. French health authorities said a full epidemiological investigation is underway to identify people who may have been in contact with the patient. Northern Governors' Forum Chairman, Inuwa Yahaya Condoles With Business Mogul, Dahiru Mangal Over Wife's Death 

Gombe State Governor and Chairman of Northern States Governors' Forum, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON has commiserated with renowned business man, Alhaji Dahiru Mangal over the demise of his wife, Hajiya Aishatu Mangal who died yesterday after a brief illness.  

The Governor, in a message of condolence, described the death of Hajiya Aishatu as deeply painful, and a great loss, not only to the Mangal family, but the northern region and the country as a whole.  

"We are deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of your beloved wife. Losing a spouse is never easy, but I know that you are a strong and resilient person who will get through this difficult time. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

" The late Hajiya Aishatu will always be remembered as a kind, loving, and generous wife and mother who touched the lives of many people. Her legacy will continue to inspire others for years to come". 

Governor Inuwa extended the condolences of the government and people of Gombe State to Katsina State government and all those she left behind over the huge loss, praying Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus.
