Kaduna businessman drags ex fiancee’s father to court, demands dowry refund A businessman, Nasiru Dayyabu, on Wednesday, dragged the father of his ex-fiance, Mallam Sani Direba, to Shari’a Court II sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna over N260,000 dowry. The complainant had joined Direba in the suit against two brothers demanding a refund of N250, 000 dowry and N10,000 introduction money he paid to marry his daughter. Represented by his counsel, Mr Sani Sunusi, the complainant told the court that he sent his people from Karaye, Kano State to Kaduna in 2025, to seek for the defendant’s daughter’s hand in marriage. “We paid the dowry and the introduction money (kudin gausuwa) and were waiting for them to set a date for the wedding,” he said. “Unfortunately, the lady’s father called to inform us that they have cancelled the marriage.” The counsel said the complainant had asked for the refund of his money since Sept. 2025 but all the efforts he made proved abortive. Northern Governors' Forum Chairman, Inuwa Yahaya Condoles With Business Mogul, Dahiru Mangal Over Wife's Death 

Gombe State Governor and Chairman of Northern States Governors' Forum, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON has commiserated with renowned business man, Alhaji Dahiru Mangal over the demise of his wife, Hajiya Aishatu Mangal who died yesterday after a brief illness.  

The Governor, in a message of condolence, described the death of Hajiya Aishatu as deeply painful, and a great loss, not only to the Mangal family, but the northern region and the country as a whole.  

"We are deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of your beloved wife. Losing a spouse is never easy, but I know that you are a strong and resilient person who will get through this difficult time. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

" The late Hajiya Aishatu will always be remembered as a kind, loving, and generous wife and mother who touched the lives of many people. Her legacy will continue to inspire others for years to come". 

Governor Inuwa extended the condolences of the government and people of Gombe State to Katsina State government and all those she left behind over the huge loss, praying Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
