 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. Northern Governors' Forum Chairman, Inuwa Yahaya Condoles With Business Mogul, Dahiru Mangal Over Wife's Death 

Gombe State Governor and Chairman of Northern States Governors' Forum, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON has commiserated with renowned business man, Alhaji Dahiru Mangal over the demise of his wife, Hajiya Aishatu Mangal who died yesterday after a brief illness.  

The Governor, in a message of condolence, described the death of Hajiya Aishatu as deeply painful, and a great loss, not only to the Mangal family, but the northern region and the country as a whole.  

"We are deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of your beloved wife. Losing a spouse is never easy, but I know that you are a strong and resilient person who will get through this difficult time. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

" The late Hajiya Aishatu will always be remembered as a kind, loving, and generous wife and mother who touched the lives of many people. Her legacy will continue to inspire others for years to come". 

Governor Inuwa extended the condolences of the government and people of Gombe State to Katsina State government and all those she left behind over the huge loss, praying Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
