 South Korean police seek arrest warrant for Hybe chairman Bang Si-Hyuk over alleged $100 million investor fraud scheme    South Korean police are seeking an arrest warrant for Bang Si-Hyuk, the billionaire music executive behind K-pop powerhouse Hybe and BTS, as part of an expanding investigation into allegations that he improperly benefited from an investor scheme involving more than $100 million. Authorities said they have asked prosecutors to pursue a court warrant for Bang’s arrest as they continue probing claims that he misled investors in 2019. Investigators allege he told investors that Hybe had no plans for an initial public offering, leading them to sell shares to a private equity fund. The company later went public, and police suspect a separate arrangement may have resulted in Bang receiving a substantial payout tied to post-IPO stock profits. President Tinubu Appoints New Customs Deputy Comptroller-Generals


    
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed three Deputy Comptroller-Generals of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).

In a statement on Friday, the spokesman of the Service, Abdullahi Maiwada, said the president appointed F O Okun, MBA Musa and A Hamisu as Deputy Comptroller-Generals of the NCS.

Maiwada also said President Tinubu appointed three new Assistant Comptrollers-General (ACGs) namely K Olumoh,  AB Mohammed and A Alajogun.

According the Service spokesman, the appointment of the new Customs top management followed the appointment of the Acting Comptroller-General, Adewale Adeniyi on June 19.

Maiwada said the acting Comptroller-General, thanked the retired members of the management for their meritorious service.

He also congratulated the newly appointed Officers and charged them to redouble their efforts to ensure the Service achieves greater heights in its mandates of revenue generation, suppression of smuggling and trade facilitation.
