 A group of middle school students are being hailed as heroes after stopping a runaway bus and saving the driver who was suffering a medical emergency.  Five students from Hancock Middle School, in Hancock County, Mississippi, saved the day on April 22nd when their bus driver, 47-year-old Leah Taylor, blacked out during an acute asthma attack. Leah was in the process of attempting to self administer medication when she blacked out. The bus was loaded with around 40 children when 12-year-old Jackson Casnave noticed the bus beginning to swerve.  Jackson wasted no time jumping into action. He rushed to take control of the wheel while calling for help. His plea for help was answered by 4 additional brave students. 12-year-old Darius Clark rushed to Jackson's aid and began hitting the brakes. Suspected ritualist arrested with human skull in Akwa Ibom

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested a suspected ritualist for possession of a human skull.
 
The state Commissioner of Police, CP Olatoye Durosinmi, disclosed this during a press briefing at the command headquarters in Ikot Akpan Abia, Uyo on Friday. 
 
According to the CP, the suspect, Edu Ime, was arrested at Urua Ekpa Junction, around Calabar-Itu Highway.
 
"On 15/05/2023, at about 8:05pm, one Edu Udeme Ime of Mbak Etoi Village, UYO was arrested at Urua Ekpa junction by the Command's Quick Response Squad for being in possession of human skull,” he stated. 
 
"The suspect could not give any reasonable explanation as to why he was in possession of same but named their ring leader who is a suspected ritualist.
 
In another development, police arrested two airport vandals. 
 
“On 3/5/2023, at about 11:05pm, in a coordinated operation, the duo of Enyeneokpo Ubeh of Ikot Antia Village and Gabriel Essien of Ndon Ebom village, both in Uruan LGA were arrested by Operatives of the Anti-Narcotics Squad of the Command for vandalizing and stealing part of the airport gate facing the Okobo axis of the Victor Attah International Airport. Some of the e vandalized parts have been recovered and efforts are being made to arrest other fleeing gang members,” the CP added..
