 NLC backs new SSG Chiamaka Nnake, Seeks Workers Welfare  By Ukpa Ewa  The Organized Labour in Anambra State has pledged support to the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, while urging her to place the interest of Anambra and workers’ welfare at the forefront of her administration. The labour delegation, led by Comrade Humphrey Emeka Nwafor of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Comrade Chris Ogbonna of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), paid a courtesy visit to the new SSG at the Light House in Awka. Speaking during the visit, Comrade Nwafor said the office of the SSG plays a key role in government labour relations and called on Mrs. Nnake to ensure Anambra workers are given due attention in government affairs. He also congratulated her on becoming the first female SSG in the state at a young age, describing her appointment as historic. TROOPS RESCUE 24 KIDNAP VICTIMS, ELIMINATE ABDUCTORS IN SHOOT OUT


Troops of 223 Battalion, operating under Sector 1 of Joint Task Force, North West Operations Hadarin Daji have in a rescue operation conducted in the early hours of today 7 July 2023 rescued 24 kidnap victims, including a child, after a shootout with notorious bandits at Kabugu Lamba; an abandoned village in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara state, North West Nigeria. The gallant troops led by the Commanding Officer of the Battalion, stalked and swooped on the bandits, annihilating 4 of them in a ferocious fire fight that ensued. 
The victims, including a minor, 9 females and 14 males have been extricated and evacuated from the kidnappers' hideout by the troops.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
