 There was no evidence that he slept with the girl” – Yomi Fabiyi gives update on Baba Ijesha’s case Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has given an update on embattled Yoruba actor Baba Ijesha’s case. Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. 1988 SET OF RANSOME KUTI MEMORIAL GRAMMAR SCHOOL, SURULERE, LAGOS MARK THEIR 30TH ANNIVERSARY AND REUNION OF THEIR SET IN A NOSTALGIC WAY. (PHOTOS).

The 1988 set of Ransome Kuti Memorial Grammar School, Surulere, Lagos chose to mark the 30th anniversary and reunion of their set in a nostalgic way.


They recreated being in secondary school after 30 years. 


They wore their school uniforms to school. They gathered in the school for the morning assembly. Late comers knelt down as it was when they were in school.


The morning assembly was conducted and announcements made. They sang their old school songs and marched into class in single files. 


Current students were present to witness this as a way to create that pride for their school in them.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
