 LAWMA SEALS PREMISES ON AGO PALACE WAY, ARRESTS 11 DUMPERS ON LAGOS ISLAND … Intensifies Enforcement Against Illegal Waste Disposal In renewed enforcement efforts, the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has sealed premises identified for persistent illegal waste dumping along Ago Palace Way and arrested 11 persons for illegal waste disposal in various parts of Lagos Island. The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of LAWMA, Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, said that the enforcement operations underscored the Authority’s resolve to enforce existing waste management regulations and ensure compliance with approved waste disposal practices across Lagos. He explained that the Ago Palace Way operation covered plazas, hotels, lounges and warehouses along the corridor, as part of efforts to tackle activities contributing to waste build-up and environmental nuisance on road setbacks, medians and other unauthorised public spaces. 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮 State-based native doctor, 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗸𝘄𝘂𝗱𝗼𝘇𝗶𝗲 𝗡𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘄𝘂, 𝗮.𝗸.𝗮 “𝗔𝗸𝘄𝗮 𝗢𝗸𝘂𝗸𝗼 𝗧𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗶”, who recently regained freedom after six days in the kidnapper’s den, is set for 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴. 
 Newsmen were reliably informed that the 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 will be at an Anglican Church in 𝗢𝗯𝗮, 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗚𝗔 of 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮 State next Sunday being 𝟔𝐭𝐡 of August, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯.
