 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. Davido rewards content creator with N2m

Afrobeats megastar, Davido has ‘blessed’ a content creator with N2 million for her ingenious work that made him laugh.

The lady, identified as Okoli Classic, made a video which caught the attention of popular blogger Tunde Ednut and he decided to reshare it on his Instagram page.

The video captured Okoli’s craving fried rice at night but didn’t have enough money so she settled for cassava granules (better known as garri). She bought other items like sachet water, milk, sugar, biscuits and apple.

She set down to prepare her meal informing the viewers she was about to have her plate of fried rice and eventually did justice to it with much gusto.

Apparently, Davido was moved by her content and so he reached out to Tunde Ednut to get the girl’s details so that he could appreciate her craft because according to the blogger, ‘it entertained him.’

At first they couldn’t reach Okoli but when they finally did, she explained her phone malfunctioned.

She was full of praises and prayers for Davido and the blogger who made it possible for her content to be viewed by the DMW boss.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
