 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room. Davido rewards content creator with N2m

Afrobeats megastar, Davido has ‘blessed’ a content creator with N2 million for her ingenious work that made him laugh.

The lady, identified as Okoli Classic, made a video which caught the attention of popular blogger Tunde Ednut and he decided to reshare it on his Instagram page.

The video captured Okoli’s craving fried rice at night but didn’t have enough money so she settled for cassava granules (better known as garri). She bought other items like sachet water, milk, sugar, biscuits and apple.

She set down to prepare her meal informing the viewers she was about to have her plate of fried rice and eventually did justice to it with much gusto.

Apparently, Davido was moved by her content and so he reached out to Tunde Ednut to get the girl’s details so that he could appreciate her craft because according to the blogger, ‘it entertained him.’

At first they couldn’t reach Okoli but when they finally did, she explained her phone malfunctioned.

She was full of praises and prayers for Davido and the blogger who made it possible for her content to be viewed by the DMW boss.
