 TINUBU RECALLS PERMANENT SECRETARY FROM SUSPENSION President Bola Tinubu has approved the reinstatement of M.S. Danjuma, Permanent Secretary, Finance (Special Duties), with effect from October 21, 2026. The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Olumuyiwa Enitan Abel, conveyed the President’s approval in a letter dated October 22, 2026. Danjuma was suspended on August 21, 2026, alongside two other Permanent Secretaries, following an ICPC report on the activities of a purported agency known as the National Brands Development and Made in Nigeria Special Project Office. The agency was allegedly promoted by George Buchi Nwabueze, with suspected involvement of public servants in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. Following due diligence, President Tinubu lifted Danjuma’s suspension and directed him to resume duties in line with the Public Service Rules, applicable regulations and ethical standards of the Federal Civil Service.

 IN ANAMBRA, CP ADEOYE VISITS INJURED PERSONNEL IN THE HOSPITAL



Today 2/8/2023, the Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command *CP Aderemi Adeoye* visited two police operatives, who sustained injuries on 31/7/2023 during a Joint Security Force onslaught against insurgents in a criminal camp at Orsumoghu. 


The visit was to boost the morale of Officers while discharging their duties with the assurance that, their welfare is of paramount importance to the leadership of the Force. He made a cash donation to the officers and prayed for their quick recovery while assuring them that the Police would not abandon or leave them behind.


The *CP* also assures the good people of Anambra that the command is more determined than ever to flush out the miscreants in the state and make the entire state safer for law-abiding citizens to go about their lawful businesses.
