  Oshiomhole Convinced Us To Make Obaseki Governor – Philip Shaibu Philip Shaibu, the former Deputy Governor of Edo State, has disclosed that his choice to support his former boss, Godwin Obaseki, stemmed from his respect for Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Naija News, Shaibu shared his doubts about Obaseki during an interview on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm program on Tuesday. Shaibu admitted that he lacked confidence in Obaseki's leadership even before they took office on November 12, 2016. He explained that despite his initial hesitations, he ultimately backed Obaseki out of respect and based on the assurances provided by Oshiomhole. He stated, “Obaseki is not a politician. We made him governor because Oshiomhole persuaded us. Khadijah Haqq announced break up from Bobby McCray after 13 years of marriage, 16 years together…Khadijah Haqq and Bobby McCray have parted ways.

The pair announced their separation on August 18 after spending 16 years together overall and 13 years as husband and wife.

"Now more than ever I have been relying on prayer," Khadijah announced on Instagram. "Family is so important to me. Unfortunately, life has brought me to a tremendous transition."

"I have come to the intensely difficult conclusion that while Bobby & I have a great deal of love for one another, it's best we move forward separately," she added. "I did not come to the decision lightly."

The actress and the former NFL player have three children together, and Bobby is also the father of a son from a prior relationship.

And as Khadijah, who over the years has been on The Kardashians and Keeping Up With the Kardashians with BFF Khloe Kardashian and sister Malika Haqq, explained in her post, she kept her connection with Bobby private for the welfare of their family.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
