Kaduna businessman drags ex fiancee’s father to court, demands dowry refund A businessman, Nasiru Dayyabu, on Wednesday, dragged the father of his ex-fiance, Mallam Sani Direba, to Shari’a Court II sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna over N260,000 dowry. The complainant had joined Direba in the suit against two brothers demanding a refund of N250, 000 dowry and N10,000 introduction money he paid to marry his daughter. Represented by his counsel, Mr Sani Sunusi, the complainant told the court that he sent his people from Karaye, Kano State to Kaduna in 2025, to seek for the defendant’s daughter’s hand in marriage. “We paid the dowry and the introduction money (kudin gausuwa) and were waiting for them to set a date for the wedding,” he said. “Unfortunately, the lady’s father called to inform us that they have cancelled the marriage.” The counsel said the complainant had asked for the refund of his money since Sept. 2025 but all the efforts he made proved abortive. Gov. Zulum Celebrates Return of Peace as NYSC Opens Orientation Camp Maiduguri After 12 Years Of Closure.

~Borno Chief Judge administered the Oath of allegiance to Corps Members.

Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum attend the NYSC Orientation Camp swearing in of Corp members posted to Borno state at the temporary NYSC Orientation Camp Arabic Teacher college Maiduguri.

The NYSC state coordinator in his remarks thank the Executive Governor of Borno state and the stakeholders for efforts put in place and working with the NYSC management to see NYSC Orientation Camp resume in Borno state after the 12 Years of the closure now the orientation camp has been Reopened for activities this is indeed shows that peace has gradually return to Borno state. He charged the Prospective Corp members to be diligent in their PPA to serve their father Land.

Gov. Zulum in his address Thanked Almighty Allah for witnessing this remarkable day of Reopening of the NYSC Orientation Camp in Borno state after 12 years of closure of the camp due to insecurity and today NYSC Camp activities have resumed in Borno State, This is a clear indication that peace has returned  to the state. He also acknowledged the bold step taken by the Corp members posted to Borno state who come down to the state for their mandatory youths service, "We welcome you all and Borno is a place for hospitality and the state has been enjoying peace, Borno state government has continues paying corp members their state allowance without any issues he wish them successful service year in Borno state".

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
