 “No electricity, no vote,” South Africans threaten to shun ruling party ANC Residents in Katlehong, a township outside Johannesburg, have resolved to boycott South Africa's upcoming local elections on November 4 due to long-standing failures by authorities to provide basic services like electricity. For over 20 years, around 180 households in the community have relied on illegal electrical connections pulled from neighboring areas to power their homes. Angry over the lack of formal grid infrastructure, residents are directing their frustration at the ruling African National Congress (ANC). "We have made a collective decision: no electricity, no vote," said community leader Lesiba Rankapole, 59. "We know it is illegal, but we had no choice because we cannot live without electricity. Actress Iyabo Ojo speaks on late MohBad’s personality

Popular actress Iyabo Ojo has weighed in on the demise of singer MohBad who passed on at 27.
The actress confirmed his jovial spirit and someone who doesn’t like trouble.

In a post on her Instagram page, the mother of two noted how death is inevitable as she described his demise as shocking and painful.

Iyabo revealed that though God can’t be questioned, she has sinned against him by questioning him too many times.

She promises never to forget how they toured the UK together at the One Africa Music Festival.

Iyabo described him as a calm and respectful individual.

“Death….is one shocking and painful reality that is inevitable. It’s so hard to accept.

“We say we can’t question God, but God knows I have sinned against him. Bcos I have questioned him one too many times.

At Mohbad, I will never forget the 3 days we toured together in the UK for the One Africa Music festival. Very calm, respectful, and at the same time jovial.
