 Chris Brown Avoids Jail After London Nightclub Attack, Gets 8-Month Suspended Sentence Chris Brown will not be going to prison for now after a London court sentenced him over a nightclub attack that left music producer Abraham Diaw injured. The American singer, 37, was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on Monday, October 26, receiving eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months. His co-defendant, rapper HoodyBaby, whose real name is Omololu Akinlolu, 40, received a four-month suspended sentence, also for 12 months. Both were ordered to pay £1,500 in costs. The case dates back to February 19, 2023 at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London, where Brown admitted attacking Diaw with a tequila bottle. CCTV footage showed the producer being struck twice on the head, hit on the shoulder, chased, pushed to the floor and kicked while down. Burna Boy is cheap, fake, unoriginal - Brymo 

Nigerian singer, Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, popularly known as Brymo, has described Grammy-winning musician, Burna Boy as “sleazy, cheap, very unoriginal and very fake”.

In a recent interview, Brymo chastised Burna Boy for trying to invent a new Afrobeat style based on the labors of the king of Afrobeat, Fela Kuti.

He also stressed his lack of originality and the fact that he steals tunes by Fela.

He said, “I saw a video where he said he was the Jesus of Afrobeat and he put Davido and Wizkid on some other mountain like that.

"I think he is sleazy, he is cheap, he is a thief, very unoriginal, very fake. Every song is a sample or a stolen slogan. Who does that?.

"Afrobeat is a music style, not a genre. Fela started the genre and it is disrespectful that a new generation of musicians came and just added ‘S’ to create another center of number one.’’
