 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

CP WARNS AGAINST MOB ACTION/JUNGLE JUSTICE.



In cases of alleged missing male organ.


The FCT Police Command warns residents against taking laws into their own hands or resorting to jungle justice in any criminal or alleged criminal situations, as it only breeds lawlessness and disruption of public peace in an already existing peaceful environment.


This follows an incident of alleged missing male organ on 23/09/2023 at about 1614hrs of the trio of  Muhammad Aminu 'm'  17yrs, Ibrahim 'm' 25yrs and Lawal Salisu 'm' who claimed to have had an uncommon feeling around their manhood after sharing a body contact with one Ahmed Haruna 'm' 50 yrs around Karshi area.


The suspect was almost being lynched by irate youths when the Police operatives attached to Karshi Division acting on actionable intelligence swiftly mobilized to the scene and rescued the suspect from the mob.


The Commissioner of Police, FCT, CP Haruna G. Garba psc, cautions the members of the public to shun all forms of mob action or jungle justice while enjoining them to follow the legal and appropriate channel to express grievances whenever the need arises, as the FCT Police Command is committed to preserving peace and security of all.


He equally urges the  public to promptly report distress calls and complaints through the following emergency lines: 08032003913, 08061581938, 07057337653, and 08028940883. Additionally, the Public Complaint Bureau (PCB)

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
