 Chris Brown Avoids Jail After London Nightclub Attack, Gets 8-Month Suspended Sentence Chris Brown will not be going to prison for now after a London court sentenced him over a nightclub attack that left music producer Abraham Diaw injured. The American singer, 37, was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on Monday, October 26, receiving eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months. His co-defendant, rapper HoodyBaby, whose real name is Omololu Akinlolu, 40, received a four-month suspended sentence, also for 12 months. Both were ordered to pay £1,500 in costs. The case dates back to February 19, 2023 at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London, where Brown admitted attacking Diaw with a tequila bottle. CCTV footage showed the producer being struck twice on the head, hit on the shoulder, chased, pushed to the floor and kicked while down.  Gov. Yusuf Sacks Commissioner, Adviser Over Unguided Utterances 


Kano State Government has disassociated it self from unguided utterances made by the commissioner of lands and physical planning Alhaji Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, and Special Adviser on youths and sports Alhaji Yusuf Imam,  which were disrespectful to the judiciary and the vice president senator Kashim Shettima.


The Commissioner of information Alhaji Baba Halilu Dantiye Disclosed this during an emergency media breifing held in Kano.


He said following the unguided utterances Made by the commissioner and SA on Youths  Aliyu Yusuf Imam , they have been relieved from their appointments with immediate effect. 


Alhaji Baba Halilu Dantiye said Kano state government have respect for the judiciary and the vice president , henceforth no government official should talk on any issue outside his ministry of parastatals.


He urged the people of the state to always be law abiding and respect rule of law.


Radio Nigeria recalled that the sacked officials made the unguided utterances in a video clip which went viral on social media , which they allegedly threatened the lives of the election tribunal judges , and uttered disrespectful words to the Vice President kashim Shettima
