 ACCORD PARTY GARNERS SUPPORT FOR GOVERNOR ADELEKE FOR SECOND TERM Ahead of the August 15th Osun State governorship election, Accord party has urged the people of the state to re-elect Governor Ademola Adeleke, describing his administration as one that has delivered significant progress in infrastructure, education, healthcare, security and workers' welfare. In a statement, the party's National Chairman,  Maxwell Mgbudem, said Governor Adeleke's achievements justify a second term and expressed confidence that voters would support the continuity of his administration. The party also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission and security agencies to remain neutral and ensure a free, fair, credible and transparent election. It further warned against vote buying, insisting that every valid vote must count, and described the Osun governorship election as a key test of INEC's readiness for the 2027 general election.

 Gov. Yusuf Sacks Commissioner, Adviser Over Unguided Utterances 


Kano State Government has disassociated it self from unguided utterances made by the commissioner of lands and physical planning Alhaji Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, and Special Adviser on youths and sports Alhaji Yusuf Imam,  which were disrespectful to the judiciary and the vice president senator Kashim Shettima.


The Commissioner of information Alhaji Baba Halilu Dantiye Disclosed this during an emergency media breifing held in Kano.


He said following the unguided utterances Made by the commissioner and SA on Youths  Aliyu Yusuf Imam , they have been relieved from their appointments with immediate effect. 


Alhaji Baba Halilu Dantiye said Kano state government have respect for the judiciary and the vice president , henceforth no government official should talk on any issue outside his ministry of parastatals.


He urged the people of the state to always be law abiding and respect rule of law.


Radio Nigeria recalled that the sacked officials made the unguided utterances in a video clip which went viral on social media , which they allegedly threatened the lives of the election tribunal judges , and uttered disrespectful words to the Vice President kashim Shettima
