 “No electricity, no vote,” South Africans threaten to shun ruling party ANC Residents in Katlehong, a township outside Johannesburg, have resolved to boycott South Africa's upcoming local elections on November 4 due to long-standing failures by authorities to provide basic services like electricity. For over 20 years, around 180 households in the community have relied on illegal electrical connections pulled from neighboring areas to power their homes. Angry over the lack of formal grid infrastructure, residents are directing their frustration at the ruling African National Congress (ANC). "We have made a collective decision: no electricity, no vote," said community leader Lesiba Rankapole, 59. "We know it is illegal, but we had no choice because we cannot live without electricity. ‘Men leave after sleeping with me’ — Skit Maker Mandy Kiss

Social media influencer Mandy Ayomiposi Oluwada, better known as Mandy Kiss, has lamented her lack of success in finding true love.

She made this disclosure during an interview with on the Honest Bunch podcast where she lamented the fact that, despite having a decent figure and a solid job, she had been rejected by many guys.

She said: “It has not been easy for me [as regards finding true love]. I have suffered a lot. I just want happiness. I just want someone who will love me. But with my money and body, I’m still getting dumped.

“They [suitors] will come, and I will think I have found true love. They will call me always, we will talk at night. But once they sleep with me, they leave.”
