 A 13-year-old boy lost his life after he was attacked by three large dogs while riding his bicycle. This tragic incident occurred January 3rd on the 100 block of Upper Sandy Cove Road in Welshtown, Nova Scotia, Canada.  On that day, 13-year-old Drew Nickerson, was enjoying the day by riding his bike through the neighborhood. As Drew rode his bike down the road, two large Cane Corsos and a Rottweiler came running out into the road from a nearby residence. The three dogs then began to viciously attack Drew. The attack left the young boy bleeding in the roadway and suffering from serious injuries.  Upon discovering Drew severely injured in the roadway, one of the owners of the dogs loaded Drew into their vehicle and rushed him to a nearby hospital.  Drew was then airlifted to a hospital in Halifax, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries on January 5th. Minister Assures Power Restoration In Kebbi After TCN Inferno

Nigerian Minister of budget and economic planning, Atiku Bagudu, says Federal Government will by all means ensure prompt restoration of power supply in Kebbi state.

The minister gave the assurance during his visit to the Birnin-Kebbi Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) substation on Monday alongside Kebbi State deputy governor, Umar Abubakar.

Kebbi state has experienced a power outage since September 14, 2023, after a fire outbreak at its substation, which also affected Sokoto state.

Abubakar said the power supplies would be restored to parts of Kebbi State on Tuesday.

He gave the assurance that with the collaboration of the ministry, state government and TCN engineers who he said will work round the clock, the power supply will be restored quickly.

TCN had on Friday restored full power supply to Sokoto state.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
