 Chris Brown Avoids Jail After London Nightclub Attack, Gets 8-Month Suspended Sentence Chris Brown will not be going to prison for now after a London court sentenced him over a nightclub attack that left music producer Abraham Diaw injured. The American singer, 37, was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on Monday, October 26, receiving eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months. His co-defendant, rapper HoodyBaby, whose real name is Omololu Akinlolu, 40, received a four-month suspended sentence, also for 12 months. Both were ordered to pay £1,500 in costs. The case dates back to February 19, 2023 at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London, where Brown admitted attacking Diaw with a tequila bottle. CCTV footage showed the producer being struck twice on the head, hit on the shoulder, chased, pushed to the floor and kicked while down. Police Confirms Abduction of Lafia Polytechnic Student

 Nasarawa State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of a student of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic Lafia, Nasarawa State during a robbery incident.

Police Public Relation Officer PPRO SP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the incident in Lafia.

According to the PPRO, the police around 10:30pm yesterday received a distress call that armed robbery was taking place in a house at Ombi 1, Lafia near the institution.

He explained that, Upon receipt of the report, Police men were immediately drafted to the scene and on arrival, it was discovered that three people were injured and the victims were rushed by the police to the Dalhatu Araf specialist Hospital Lafia for treatment. 

The PPRO said that the command has launched an investigation into the case as the Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Maiyaki has deployed all tactical teams of the command to go after the perpetrators of the act.

SP Ramhan Nansel therefore, called on the public to provide the police with useful information that lead to the rescue of the victim and arrest of the perpetrators of the crime.
