 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. Son smashes father to death for refusing to give him money

A teenager simply identified as Ikechi has smashed his father to death with a pestle at Rumuaghaolu in Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Our reporter learnt that the suspect had requested an undisclosed amount of money from the father and became infuriated when the deceased refused to give him the money.

An eyewitness said that the enraged boy got hold of a pestle and smashed it on his father’s head.

The witness said the deceased died on the spot.

“He was enraged over the father’s refusal to give him money yesterday (Thursday). The boy was suspected to be on drugs. He was asking his dad for money and he refused to give him. He carried the pestle and hit him,” the eyewitness said.

When contacted, Rivers State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe Koko, confirmed the incident.

She said that the suspect had been arrested by the police. (Daily Trust: Text).

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
