 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. 2 Years Old Kid Reportedly Died After Falling From A Storey Building At Emerald School Aba.

"The story I just heard that happened at EMERALD SCHOOL ABA is giving me a heavy migraine.

Somebody brought his kid to school only to come to pick him and they are telling him that's he is in the hospital, getting to the hospital he only saw the lifeless body of his 2 years old kid.

They said he fell from the story building, and nobody cared to call him till he came then?

God forbid.

A 2 year old kid?
After the whole sleepless nights?
After the whole stress of raising a kid?

Kai, I can't take it ooo.
Never.
It will be an eye for an eye.
First by now that school go don turn to GAZA STRIPES.
e go don become dust by now.
Then as the kid is lying lifeless, na so the principal and owner of the school go dey by now.

This is horrible.
This is too horrible to be true."

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
