 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. 26-YEAR-OLD KANO MAN CELEBRATES BECOMING A US CITIZEN THREE YEARS AFTER HE MARRIED OLDER AMERICAN WOMAN. (PHOTOS).

26-year-old Kano man celebrates becoming a US citizen three years after he married older American woman.


A Kano man, Suleiman Isah, who married an American citizen, Janine Reimann, has become a US citizen.

 

Isah was 23 years old when he got married to Reiman, 46, on December 13, 2020. 

 

The couple met on Instagram 10 months before their wedding.

 

Ms Reiman, a chef based in Lindon, California, subsequently flew into Nigeria for the wedding ceremony which was held at Barracks Mosque Panshekara.

 

In May 2023, Isah announced that he had joined the US Army. 

 

Taking to his Facebook page on Thursday, October 26, 2023, Isah celebrated becoming an American citizen.

 

"Alhamdulillah, I am grateful to served in the world strongest military. Thanks to the United States military for giving me the opportunity to serve and become a citizen of the United States of America. I am now an American," he wrote.
