 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. 26-YEAR-OLD KANO MAN CELEBRATES BECOMING A US CITIZEN THREE YEARS AFTER HE MARRIED OLDER AMERICAN WOMAN. (PHOTOS).

26-year-old Kano man celebrates becoming a US citizen three years after he married older American woman.


A Kano man, Suleiman Isah, who married an American citizen, Janine Reimann, has become a US citizen.

 

Isah was 23 years old when he got married to Reiman, 46, on December 13, 2020. 

 

The couple met on Instagram 10 months before their wedding.

 

Ms Reiman, a chef based in Lindon, California, subsequently flew into Nigeria for the wedding ceremony which was held at Barracks Mosque Panshekara.

 

In May 2023, Isah announced that he had joined the US Army. 

 

Taking to his Facebook page on Thursday, October 26, 2023, Isah celebrated becoming an American citizen.

 

"Alhamdulillah, I am grateful to served in the world strongest military. Thanks to the United States military for giving me the opportunity to serve and become a citizen of the United States of America. I am now an American," he wrote.
