 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. 26-YEAR-OLD KANO MAN CELEBRATES BECOMING A US CITIZEN THREE YEARS AFTER HE MARRIED OLDER AMERICAN WOMAN. (PHOTOS).

26-year-old Kano man celebrates becoming a US citizen three years after he married older American woman.


A Kano man, Suleiman Isah, who married an American citizen, Janine Reimann, has become a US citizen.

 

Isah was 23 years old when he got married to Reiman, 46, on December 13, 2020. 

 

The couple met on Instagram 10 months before their wedding.

 

Ms Reiman, a chef based in Lindon, California, subsequently flew into Nigeria for the wedding ceremony which was held at Barracks Mosque Panshekara.

 

In May 2023, Isah announced that he had joined the US Army. 

 

Taking to his Facebook page on Thursday, October 26, 2023, Isah celebrated becoming an American citizen.

 

"Alhamdulillah, I am grateful to served in the world strongest military. Thanks to the United States military for giving me the opportunity to serve and become a citizen of the United States of America. I am now an American," he wrote.
