 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. Blessing CEO releases purported voice note of auto dealer IVD saying Davido has paid off N4 million of the debt he owed him

Blessing CEO has released a purported voice note of auto dealer IVD saying Davido has paid off N4 million out of the N4.5 million debt he owes him.

Recall that on Wednesday, October 25,  Blessing called out Davido over the alleged debt. She alleged that the singer was owing her former friend, IVD, the sum of. N4.5 million after he purchased a Venza for his aide, Isreal Afeara.

IVD later released a statement denying Blessing’s claim that Davido owed him money from the vehicle delivered.

 His post got Blessing CEO angry and she vowed to expose him.

This night, she released a purported voice note of IVD claiming Davido had sent him N4m from the debt.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
