El-Rufai’s Eye Condition Worsening In ICPC Custody, Aide Alleges The media aide to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, Muyiwa Adekeye, has expressed concern over what he described as the worsening eye condition of his principal while in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). Adekeye also accused the anti-corruption agency of failing to provide El-Rufai with adequate medical care despite repeated complaints about his health. In a statement issued on Friday, Adekeye said the former governor had reported symptoms including swollen, red, and itchy eyes while in detention and had requested medical attention. According to him, family members who visited El-Rufai noticed the condition and alerted ICPC officials, urging them to allow him access to medical treatment. Buhari Damaged Every Sector Before Handing Over Power – Singer Rarara

Dauda Kahutu, political singer better known as Rarara, has criticized former President Muhammadu Buhari, claiming that he “crippled every sector of the country” before leaving office.

Rarara, who became known for his support and musical endorsements of the Buhari administration, expressed deep regret over his alliance with Buhari.

“I regret supporting Buhari because I thought that he would bring reforms to Nigeria, but we didn’t see that up to the end of his tenure. Buhari’s administration crippled all agencies of government, they need to be revitalized,” he said in a viral video.

He also said the 100 days of Tinubu’s administration is better than the eight years of Buhari’s administration.

Regarding the appointment of ministers in Tinubu’s government, Rarara stated that he should be consulted before appointments were made.

He said that if he is not appointed as a minister, he should at least be part of the selection process.

“If I am not given the position of minister, then it should be said that I was called and sat down with me, then those who will be given the positions of ministers were chosen with me,” said Rarara.

He said the enemies of Tinubu had been appointed to various positions in his government.

Rarara asserted that former governors Aminu Masari of Katsina and Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano were the only ones who contributed as much as he did to the success of Tinubu in the North.

He also denied benefiting any money from the Buhari government, challenging anyone with evidence to the contrary to come forward.
