 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. Do it if it’s easy – Uzoho hits back at critics after Super Eagles’ blunders

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, has hit out at his critics following his latest errors.

Uzoho has been under fire from pundits and fans over his displays against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique in the friendly matches this international break.

The Omonia SC stopper committed two blunders in the two games, that led to an angry outburst of emotions from fans.

In response, the 24-year-old took to his Snapchat story to respond to his critics.

Uzoho posted a picture of himself, and captioned it: “Do it if it’s easy.”

Nigeria head coach, Jose Peseiro, has continued to back Uzoho as his first choice.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
